Position: Showroom Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our stores. As the Showroom Manager, you will serve as the face of our brand, embodying our core values, and overseeing the overall operations of the showroom. This role requires a deep understanding of our products, industry trends, and the ability to drive sales through effective leadership and consumer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and embody the brand positioning, core purpose, and company values.
• Serve as the face of the brand, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Prioritize a listening approach, asking questions to understand the consumer and build relationships rather than viewing people purely as potential sales.
• Deliver the desired consumer experience and tailor it to provide a personalized journey for each customer.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Execute the desired store layout and signage, maintaining a professional, clean, and organized showroom.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of our product lineup, including specifications and features. Understand differences in types of coils, foams, and covers in the market.
• Stay informed on sleep mechanics, industry publications, and trends.
• Partner with leadership to set and achieve core metric target goals, such as revenue, number of mattresses sold, attachment rates, mix percentage, and consumer satisfaction.
• Understand and manage individual store Profit & Loss statements to meet financial goals.
• Build and maintain B2B relationships to drive sales in the region.
• Manage the store advertising budget and implement ideas to drive traffic.
• Nurture existing consumer relationships.
• Train Showroom Associates on cultural and technical aspects of the brand and foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Ensure consumers are aware of all service options, including in-store purchases, phone orders, online orders, delivery, pick-up, and in-home setup.
• Bring innovative ideas to enhance the in-store experience, and improve conversion rates.
• Manage through price changes and floor resets.
• Ensure the store is consistently stocked with proper levels of pick-up/to-go items.

Requires:

• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the mattress or furniture industry.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in setting and achieving sales metrics.
• In-depth product and industry knowledge.
• Proven ability to build and nurture B2B relationships.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and logistics management.
